In my new photo-collage series Enlightening, I explore the beautiful and sacred ways in which light announces itself in everyday spaces. It may appear as a shimmer, a flash, or a spark, awakening a sense of presence in everything it is illuminated. Through a physical process of printing multiple photographs and then cutting, gluing, and merging their pieces, I lift these ordinary spaces from their common/familiar contexts, offering them a new and deeper sense of meaning.
